FAQ

  • How do the period boxers differ to regular boxers?
As we know, regular boxers are designed for those who don't menstruate, often meaning that we are left with an excess baggy buldge area and nowhere to securely place winged sanitary towels (causing leaks and stained underwear) Most of us have experienced the struggle of keeping feminine underwear in our draw for the sole purpose of being used as 'period pants'. Many of us wear this as well as boxers over the top to avoid the dysmorphia that wearing feminine underwear can bring. Our period boxers solve this by having a piece of material inside the boxers, specifically designed for attaching winged sanitary towels for when we come on our periods. Yes, this means that you can bin the tatty 'period pants' that you hate.

  • How does the 'Chest-less Tee' differ to regular T-shirts?
As a masculine presenting person, how many times have you caught yourself hunched over or pinching your T-shirt away from your chest? How often do you wear overly baggy T-shirts because it conceals your chest better? Or does your chest area just regularly 'ruin the fit'? If you can relate to any of the above, the rest will make sense. Our new Chest-less Tee is designed with the female body in mind. It features muscle-fit arms so that you look and feel euphorically masculine. The chest area is loose and rests over the chest unlike other muscle-fit T-shirts which usually compress (you won't have to pinch this T-shirt away). The waist area is anti hip-hugging so that your natural frame/figure is left unnoticeable and finally the back and shoulder design creates a more broadened look. Although the concept may sound simple, there is nothing else like this on the market. All we want is to feel comfortable in our own skin and where's a better place to start than an every day multi-purpose T-shirt.

  • I don't understand the design of the T-shirt?
The T-shirt's design is broken down into 4 simple parts. Part 1 - muscle-fit arms. Masculine presenting people often find themselves avoiding muscle-fit T-shirts as they make our bodies look more feminine by highlighting curves and the chest area. This T-shirt is only muscle-fit on the arms Part 2 - shorter in length/anti hip-hugging The long T-shirts that we usually would buy from the mens section can highlight curves and bum which can make our bottom half look more feminine. This T-shirt has slits on the sides so that it doesn't hug your waist and make your look curvy. It flares up slightly to free your waistline from being held hostage. Part 3 - loose chest area This T-shirt has a subtle approach to the chest area and can make it appear completely flat if you wear a compressive sports bra underneath. This can be perfect for people who need a break from binding or feels as though their chest 'ruins the fit' Part 4 - Broader back Who doesn't want a broader/more built looking back?. The seams on this T-shirt create a perfect arm to back ratio and can help to make you feel bigger & buffer.
  • Do you have to go to the gym to wear the 'Chest-less Tee'?

  • What is body/gender dysphoria?
Gender dysphoria (GD) is a term used to describe when someone has an internal conflict or psychological distress where they identify with a gender other than the biological gender they were assigned at birth. What exactly does this mean? An example of gender dysphoria is someone was born female, but their gender identity doesn’t align with the biological sex they were assigned. So while they have female sex characteristics, they actually identify as a male (and of course, the opposite could also be true). Although it’s a diagnosis named in the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM-5), it’s extremely important to understand that gender dysphoria itself is not a mental illness or mental disorder. Gender dysphoria symptoms can include anxiety stemming from a severe dissatisfaction with the body one is in. There can be a strong desire to lose the physical identifiers of one’s biological sex (such as wanting or not wanting facial hair or breasts). Other symptoms of gender dysphoria might include: Sadness or an inability to feel satisfied with basic life activities and low self esteem An intense desire to remove or add primary sex characteristics An innate want to be treated as a sex other than what one was born with A conviction that one has the reactions or feelings that another gender would typically display Summed up, those with gender dysphoria often describe a feeling of “being stuck” or being born in the wrong body. Over time, these feelings can manifest into depression, unhappiness, distress, anxiety, sadness, or even anger.
